We will expertly guide you through everything you’ve ever wanted to know about truffles. You will work with the elusive black truffle hands-on, learning how to clean and grate them, and make delicious truffle-based dishes. Ingredients including fresh truffles flown directly from Istria to Singapore for the masterclass will be provided for each participant to use and take home. Menu: • Black Truffle Frittata Probably the most traditional truffle dish from Istria, based on a recipe perfected by generations of the Karlić family. The heat of the eggs releases the aromas locked in the truffles, letting them work their black magic. • Belle’s Truffle Toast A delicious blend of cream cheese, tartufata spread, with fresh truffles shaved on top. Incredibly easy to make, and incredibly tasty, we dare you to stop at having just one. • Istrian Malvazija Why not toast your creation with a glass of natural Istrian Malvazija wine, made from grapes grown on the hills overlooking Istria’s famous truffle forest. Your Instructors: Belle & Zoran Co-founders, The Adriatic Pantry Belle & Zoran co-founded The Adriatic Pantry to bring natural food finds from the Adriatic coast of Croatia to Singapore. They work with a third-generation family of truffle hunters and a select group of truffle small family producers to bring in their award-winning products and educate people on how to best enjoy them. They believe food tastes better when you know who makes it and where it comes from. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: The maximum class size is 15 persons. To run the class, at least 6 persons are needed. If there is a no-show by the participant, no make-up class will be conducted – fees are non-refundable. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. We will inform you 3 days before the event by email, and a refund will be processed.
