About the Class
In this class, you will be introduced to the Peranakan Nonya Cuisine.
Peranakan or Nyonya cuisine comes from the Peranakans, descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca, Singapore and Indonesia inter-marrying with local Malays and combines Chinese, Malay and other influences.
Known for its bold flavours, Peranakan food has won over the hearts of locals and tourists alike - if you're new to Singapore, this is definitely a class you shouldn't miss.
*Do take note that there is a requirement of 2 pax for class to begin.
Nonya Cuisine Menu:
1. Asam Prawns (Tamarind Prawns)
2. Spicy Sweet Potato Leaves in Coconut Milk
3. Ayam Ponteh (chicken stew)

The hands-on cooking classes are conducted in Ruqxana’s home in where she has created a peaceful escape with bohemian decor, a Balinese garden, and her 8 cats!
